LAUPERLAND
Lauperland is the revival of the world's largest Cyndi Lauper fansite, Page After Page, founded by Jean-Marc Piraprez in 1995.
Page After Page ran until 2005, attracting over 4 million visitors, and serving as Cyndi's official website for its last couple of years before being archived.
In 2018, Webmaster Curtis Newart revived Page After Page, rebranding it as Cyndi's unofficial fansite LAUPERLAND, with Robert Newart as the Assistant Webmaster, and stellar contributions from fans worldwide, plus the artwork of Brett Willis of TOONARAMA fame.
Lauperland launched on February 22, 2019.
We've worked with some amazing artists - check out our Spotlights.
We are also proud to host The Cyndi Lauper Library, on exclusive loan from Shan Maggard.
Please enjoy the site, donate to True Colors United, and send us your artwork and ideas. But, most of all, have fun!
xx

Found Interview
Check out this little gem I picked up on eBay for five bucks.
It contains three short interview excerpts of Cyndi talking about her cover of Marvin Gaye's "What's Going On", which appeared on Cyndi's second album 'True Colors' (1986). According to the packaging, the interview was recorded at Wilder Brothers Studio in Los Angeles. I'm guessing it was recorded in 1987, since the single (which was slightly different than the album version) was released in March 1987.
She also talks briefly about "We Are The World".
The tape is 2:56 in length.
Enjoy!
Curtis Newart
