This is a 'You Don't Know' review.

The great thing about Cyndi Lauper is that she's got a really nice voice but thankfully chooses to use that Marianne Faithfull-y croakiness that saves her from turning into Celine Dion. This, the first track from her forthcoming album Sisters Of Avalon, is probably as good as anything she's ever done. There's a certain jangliness, an atmospheric electric guitar and the sort of chorus that makes you search your pockets for a lighter. Anthemic and really rather on the gorgeous side.

Score: The single was given 4 out of 5.
